Indonesia and Malaysia, Similar but Different

Recently, Indonesia and Malaysia were involved on some quarrels. Starting from the taking over of Indonesia’s islands that are: Sipadan and Ambalat by Malaysia to the claiming of some of Indonesia's heritages by Malaysia. We know that we are from the same tribe, but it does not mean that Malaysia can take everything from us. Malaysia is alike Indonesia in some ways, but it is also different in area, culture, and wealth.
There are some aspects which make both of Indonesia and Malaysia are similar. Originally, we are from the same tribe and ancestor that is Malayan tribe. Besides, we also have the same language that is Malay language. In historical background, we have a distinctive similarity. Both of us had also been a colonize for a long time. We also had to struggle for our Independence as well. Even though we are almost the same, we still have some distinction things.
First of all, unlike Indonesia, Malaysia’s area is narrower. A we know that, Indonesia is the biggest archipelago in this world. It means that Indonesia has a large amount of islands, which automatically make Indonesia bigger than Malaysia. Besides making Indonesia’s territory bigger, the islands also make our culture richer. Almost in every island has a native tribe, and even in some islands there are several different native tribe. Each tribe has custom and culture which is different from the others. Unfortunately, although Indonesia has a lot of islands, tribes, and cultures, we still cannot manage it well. It makes Malaysia has chance to take over and claim some of our islands and heritages.
Then, wealthiness is one of the aspects which makes both of us are different. In one hand, Indonesia has a lot of islands and culture. On the other hand, Malaysia just has a little amount of islands and cultures but Malaysia can manage and utilize them well. It makes Malaysia is wealthier than Indonesia, meanwhile Indonesia’s wealth decrease time by time.
In conclusion, Indonesia and Malaysia have some distinctive aspects which can differ each other. Indonesia has a large amount of islands, which make its territory, and cultures are bigger and richer than Malaysia. Ironically, we have a bigger territory than Malaysia, but Malaysia is wealthier than we are. It makes Malaysia wants to take over and claim everything from us. Although we are different, we have to remember that we are from the same ancestor and we have the same language. In addition, we had also been a colonial for a long time and both of us had to struggle to get our Independence. Those things should make us feel that we are sibling and we should make peace each other and do not involve in quarrels anymore.
